About Zetta

Zetta (zet·ta- or 'zet uh) is a prefix used in the SI system of units denoting 10²¹ or 1000⁷ or 1 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 or sextillion. The term comes from the Latin word septem, meaning seven, because it is equal to 1000⁷. For example,  10²¹bytes is called zettabyte. [See Wikipedia for more]

Why the name Zetta?

Do you know that the company name Google is a misspelling of the word "Googol" made by founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin? Googol is the large number 10¹⁰⁰, that is, the digit 1 followed by one hundred zeros.

Now you know why we selected the name Zetta, which is 10²¹. We aspire to be a small, smart and innovative team like Google.

The Team

Zetta is founded by Sreekandakumar Pillai ("Sree"). Sree has worked with Infosys for more than 9 years prior to conceiving Zetta. He has extensive knowledge on Web Technologies and Project Management.
